Project Jolt is composed of college students at schools
around the country working collectively to create
college-specific versions of The Daily Jolt. Dissatisfied
with the Web sites of our own schools, with mainstream
portal sites, and with lame attempts on the part of
companies to create sites for college students, we
decided to create our own start page.
Because it was created by actual college students and is
run by them, too, the site is actually useful, interesting,
easy, and usually a lot of fun.
Originating at Amherst College, and expanding to
Brown and Dartmouth last year, Project Jolt has now expanded to many
more campuses nationwide. All its members work
together to innovate the design of the site as well as to
localize the site for each college. Each college's Daily Jolt
site is run by students at that school helping to ensure
really useful content. The fact that we're all students
also means you can write in with your suggestions for
making the site more useful and we'll probably listen. For
once, this is our site.
Signing off,
The Members of Project Jolt

We aim to make this website the best possible resource to the BC student. Please email suggestions to us so that we may serve you better.
